Changing the brake pads on my 1997 Ford E350 Van

Ok I pulled into the drive way, pulled out the ramps, possitioned them and with the help of my eight year old, drove right up on the top of them. That's where I ran out of ideas. I pulled out my shop jack and it doesn't have enough lift, in fact, I am not real sure it will even lift enough to do the job. I have only done this on my Toyotas and this is a wee bit more heavy. My jack is rated at 2 1/2 ton. So it is a little light.
I have another problem though. I don't have big enough jack stands either. So what I really need is a bunch of blocks. hmm.

Dad needs to lighten up!

Today I am hanging out at the laundromat, guess I must of drawn the short straw. Maybe while I was sleeping,cause all I know was I woke up and it was already decided.
Fortunatly I kinda don't mind, it does get me out of the house. gets me out of some of my fatherly responsibilities, like watching the kids. That's the rub, I did come here to escape the kids... So why am I here cowering in the corner?
The laundromat is teeming, nay crawlingly with little monsters! They are wild, they are loud, and thankfully, they aren't us!

Those were the days! Now that I think about it, I need to get a grip, good times, little kids, and the problem is... I'm getting old. Here I had a chance to turn back the hands of time and I missed it. Tomorrow I should try to get out of bed on the younger side.
